The lighting upgrade at Talbot Centre has played a huge role in the mall's recent revitalization. Great architectural design has been complimented with a wide breadth of fixtures from Lande's line card. Manufacturers such as Ledalite, Lightolier, Besa Lighting, Scott Architectural Lighting, Acclaim, and Snowball Lighting are all controlled through a Architectural Dimming system from Legrand. Project is still under construction, stay tuned for more pictures and updates.
Acclaim Lighting's Aria Wireless DMX system allowed for an outdated HPS flood installation to be transformed into a state of the art RGBW showpiece with more ease than ever before. Using the Acclaim Dynadrum with built in Aria receivers, the City of St.Thomas was able to replace each pole mounted HPS fixture one for one with a brand new RGBW LED flood without the need for running new data wiring. Installing an ART500 DMX Controller and Aria transceiver in a nearby Caboose, the City can now run up to 500 programmable scenes on a schedule, allowing them to customize Jumbo's look to coincide with events in the City.
The Home rink of the St. Thomas Stars Jr.B (GOJHL) and St. Thomas Minor Hockey Association received a facelift using the FBX high bay from Signify. The high performance LED fixtures provided considerable energy savings over the previous T5HO Fluorescent lamps, while providing the light levels and uniformity required for competitive level Hockey. Fans and players alike enjoy a much better experience on game night!
Using brand new LED Lamps from Philips, Emmanuel United Church has seen an energy savings of over 80% in their sanctuary lighting. Lande Associates was able to replace the existing 90w halogen Par38 lamps with a 14w LED Par38, not only saving energy and maintenance costs, but also increasing the light levels significantly while maintaining the warm feel of the sanctuary.
This project brings a whole new meaning to creating drama with light! Assumption College's theatre classroom received a make over with the help of an all-star cast of lighting and controls manufacturers. General lighting was provided by Coronet and Lightolier, while a state if the art stage lighting and DMX system was provided by ETC. The two were then brought together with the help of Legrand's Architectural Dimming platform, equipped with a combination of 0-10v dimming modules and a DMX gateway. This allowed for full integration between the ETC theatrical board and architectural lighting controls, allowing the 0-10v house lights to be dimmed directly from the DMX board at the same time as cueing the next scene for the stage lights during theatre productions. The additional touch screen interface in the classroom space then gives the teacher flexibility to dim and trigger scenes during rehearsals and normal classroom use.
